I plugged Tarus Balog's talk on OpenNMS at the February ATLNSMTUG meeting here in response to John's list of topics. That talk will be targeted squarely at folks who specialize in network and systems management. I'd be happy to give a more Linux-focused one for ALE if the group is interested. I gave such a presentation last April at Texas LinuxFest:
