[ale] changing dash to bash in ubuntu

Friends:

I learnt something diff today.  I was installing WebSphere 7.0 on Ubuntu64
10.10.  It was failing again and again.

I then started researching.  I found that Ubuntu using a shell called dash
and NOT bash.

I had to do some hoops to make it use bash for the time being and completed
installation.

How to make Ubuntu to have permanent bash and not temporary ?

Any inputs are welcome.
