[ale] Installfest project

Ale Crew,

I have a netbook with 12GB ssd and 1GB memory.  It is a dual core atom.

I would like to install XBMC and play media over a network drive.

The network drive will be a usb drive connected to a free agent
dockstart that I got from woot.

I am not  sysadmin, I am a developer so I always struggle just a bit
with sw installs and getting things to work.

Any advice appreciated.

When is the next installfest?   I would be inclined to bring it to the
install fest.
