You don't mention the name or function of the add-on. But go to 
Tools->Add-Ons. Then depending if it was an Extension, Theme, or Plugin 
just check for something that resembles what you had installed. Normally 
once installed and FF is restarted the add-on should be running. Not 
sure if that helps any,,,,
