delete the ~/.gconf directory will force a "default" one to start over
with.
Or get gconf_edit and hack that mess (m)anually
gconf is _way_ too close to the windows registry for my liking. OK so its
xml vs. proprietary database formats but its still not clean, simply text
files, one per app.
