That will start a fork of the Firefox process that is already running.
Doing so will do nothing to prevent the new instance from taking down
the old instance of Firefox when it crashes (and vice versa).
Someone has already posted a nice script that will take care of the
problem. But Prism[1] might also solve it. The nice thing about Prism
is that you could have a "Facebook" application.
