I have a machine with a Hauppauge PVR-150 card in it and I'm seeking to 
rip videotapes.  I've got a VHS deck connected via S-Video.

What GUI apps do we have to show me the video input and give me VCR-like 
record/stop/pause?

Also:  I'll be wanting to capture losslessly or nearly so, so that I can 
edit (likely iMovie on OS X) and encode subsequent output in whatever 
format for DVD, YouTube, etc.  How will the necessary formats for these 
purposes color the above choices?
