I found an error in my ~/.emacs - default font is now set correctly. Sorry for the noise.

Subject: Invoking custom-set 'emacs' font
ALErs -
I put a custom (larger) setting in ~/.emacs for my default font, but I don't remember how to invoke it when a file is opened. Could someone please re-clue me on this?
Also, is there some way to have my defined 'default' fault used automatically when a file is opened?
Version is GNU/emacs 22.2.1.
Thanks.
