I am trying to get the LG gp08 USB drive to work with UNR, but
whenever I plug it in this is what dmesg is spitting out:
[ 1143.440034] usb 3-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 7
[ 1143.560035] usb 3-2: device descriptor read/64, error -71
[ 1143.784054] usb 3-2: device descriptor read/64, error -71
[ 1144.000032] usb 3-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 8
[ 1144.120032] usb 3-2: device descriptor read/64, error -71
[ 1144.344616] usb 3-2: device descriptor read/64, error -71
[ 1144.560032] usb 3-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 9
[ 1144.968043] usb 3-2: device not accepting address 9, error -71
[ 1145.080033] usb 3-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 10
[ 1145.488033] usb 3-2: device not accepting address 10, error -71
[ 1145.488064] hub 3-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 2
Can anyone shed some light on this for me? What is error -71? Could it
be that there is a non-generic driver I need to install? SOme people
have said it was plug n play for them.
Also, the device is USB powered(extra cord, so it takes 2 USB slots).
I have 8 USB ports and they are all full. Could this be affecting
anything? I need all the peripherals, so that would suck.
Thanks,
