I'm helping out a friend, who is learning Linux, and is trying to help out 
a friend by swapping from a paper "point of sale" process to
a computerized one.

It's all cash.. No Credit Card gateway (at least not for a while) needed.
It's a small goods store, in Guyana..

I remember someone saying they had one they liked, can I buy a clue, 
please?
