Round 87, at least:

uninstalling pulseaudio doesn't seem to be an option as (apparently) gnome
desktop depends on it! 

Another Gnome oddity.  The GUI file-find utility doesn't search recursively!
Which makes the damn thing essentially useless.  I looked around but couldn't
find anyway to fix this. I do wonder how developers could be >that< stupid. And
yes, I can use the "find" command, but sometimes the GUI (ought to be) quicker
for simple searches.
