OK. At ALE, we all know _why_ open source software is a good thing.
Happily, Senator Jay Rockefeller sees a benefit in having electronic
medical records be handled with open source software.

It's a fiscally prudent idea and it encourages information sharing AND
can be "locked down" to prevent leakage of personally identifying data
to improper people.

So maybe a call/email/snail-mail to your congress-critter with _your_
views on this would be a good idea.
