For most of today Earthlink customers that use web hosting an email have
been unable to use their sites.  The support page you referenced below
is now accessible but has no info in regards to what happened.  

This may be the nail in the coffin for that company?  Reminds me of when
SF went dark.  No updates very hush-hush about what had happened.
