All,
I just came across the QNAP TS-509 pro.
http://www.eworldsale.com/qnap-ts-509-pro-turbo-nas-5-bay-raid-1-5-6-5-jbod_5760_26303.html
That is looking like a nice solution to my needs.
It is Linux based and and provides a SSH connection per one of the
spec sheets I saw.
Does anyone know anything about it?
I'm very interested in the performance of reading large files. I saw
one person claim 60MB/sec in a real-world test, but even the qnap page
only claims about 30.
http://www.qnap.com/pro_detail_feature.asp?p_id=104 (about half way
down is the performance chart.)
Thanks
Greg
