Wow.  200M used on a freshly created ext3 filesystem.

/dev/sdb1             917G  200M  871G   1% /vol01

I guess that is the price to pay for such big drives. Beggers
can't be choosers.

I formated it via 'mke2fs -j /dev/sdb1'
