ALErs-
I'm having some usability problems with my Samsung ML-2010 printer.
Specifically, the configurator GUI comes up on the screen whenever I send
a job to the printer, and the user must release the job to the printer.
(Shades of M$ @#$@@!!)
This doesn't work with a lot of print jobs, including remote print jobs
and printing from remote console logins. It probably would prevent
printing from a simple terminal login as well.
The environment is openSuSE-10.2, KDE, Samsung printer driver. Not sure
about CUPS nor gimp-print usage.
How can I set up this printer so it just runs on a simple print queue?
(Since it's a B&W laser, my "utility" text printer, I don't expect to
remotely adjust the settings.)
Thanks.
