ok, is it me or an IMAP issue??

I have tried 3 times now to setup an IMAP account in KMAIL, and each time ams 
blocks my entire domain, saying I'm checking email every few seconds..
last night I setup a dIMAP account and it actually worked for a few seconds, 
created the folders, pulled in the mail, even the sent mail folder where I 
had sent mail using web mail 2 months ago. Then I went away, came back and 
all mail had stopped in all my accounts.

I called AMS support and they unlocked it ok, but WHY is it doing it, and what 
am I doing wrong?

I setup dIMAP per this:

and it looks like that works, but AMS doesn't like it, or I have a setting 
wrong.. clues/suggestions/help????
