[ale] Setting Slack to use remote lpr

ALErs -

I just installed Slackware-12.0 on an old system here and I'm very happy 
with it. Now I want to connect to the printer queue served by another of 
my computers. I just fell through this in the old RH and newer SuSE 
systems and it worked fing, but haven't gotten it working from Slack. I 
would appreciate a pointer to TFM or some setup suggestions.
