If you want a fully-emulated system, you can download the ISO for
FreeDOS, and install it in VirtualBox, QEMU, KVM, or whatever. You
don't even have to burn the ISO to a real CD, just use it as a virtual
CD in the emulator.
(Though, I keep a FreeDOS disc handy because you just never know when
you'll need it.)
