[ale] Anyone know how to set Konsole preferences?

Have you tried ~/.kde/share/config/konsolerc ?

Somehow I've gotten my system in a state where the "terminal" (an 
instance of Konsole) comes up with a width of considerably less than 80 
characters.  It used to be wider.  I know I can go into the menu and 
specify a width and height manually, but I figured there's a setting 
somewhere the controls it but I can't find it.  

Anyone know where it is, if it exists?
