[ale] YAeQ: Yet Another emacs Question

ALErs -

Any handy way to save and later restart 'emacs' with a given set of 
buffers open? I don't need to save places or histories in each buffer, but 
it would sometimes be handy to restore the same set of files I had been 
editing (in a computer I must turn off and put away).

I guess I could crash the emacs session some way and later recover it, but 
I was hoping for something gentler.
