[ale] Suse Linux Book

I have seen a book entitled "Beginning Suse Linux". I have seen the 2ed 
edition and it has suse 10.1. I recently found a copy of the first 
edition on ebay for $5. Their is about a years between the editions. The 
first was published in 2005, the 2ed in the end of 2006.

So my question is , Can the first edition be just as helpful for me to 
learn suse as the 2ed edition? Has that much changed in the time between 
books?
