  I just called ARS and here is the scoop:

  if you want to get rid of computer hardware (including monitors), you can bring it by

They will also take televisions, but there is a $10 charge per television. No household appliances
or air conditioners.

There are periodic computer/electronics recycling events, but these have stopped until cooler weather returns.
