[ale] Crazy Terminal Behavior

Hello Alers,
I just experienced one of the most obscure problems I've had yet. I noticed
today that I was no longer able to type the lower-case letter 'c' in the
terminal (I tried konsole and xterm). Even when I pasted the letter in it
would disappear instantly. This behavior did not occur if I su'd to root.
The problem was impossible to google; but after picking around a bit, I
traced it to ~/.inputrc where I had the line 'completion-ignore-case On'. I
guess I just put that in there one day and forgot about it! Maybe a good
joke to play on friends :)

BTW, how do you get the terminal to ignore case then?
