[ale] multiple program launches with Evolution

One thing that bugs me about Evolution (the mail/calendar app) is that
if it is running and you click the panel icon it loads a second copy (or
at least you have two open windows running the application).  This
behavior doesn't happen with Firefox, as FF seems to be smart about
detecting if you are launching the app or just need a new window.  Does
anyone know of a way to keep Evolution from launching multiple
instances, when really all you want is for it to bring the minimized
instance (that I mistakenly failed to realize was running) into the
foreground.
