I have an HP 9000/735 (http://www.openpa.net/systems/735_755.html). This
system is supported by Debian's PA-RISC port thanks to
http://parisc-linux.org. The box powers on, but I haven't played with it
because I don't have a way to interact with it. The external connectors
available are
# 50-pin HD SCSI-2 single-ended external
# 68-pin HD SCSI-3 Fast-Wide high-voltage differential HVD external
(doesn't work with Linux according to
http://www.pateam.org/parisc-linux-boot/PA-RISC-Linux-Boot-HOWTO.html#hardware)
# two standard RS232C serial
# DB25 parallel
# 10Base2 BNC Ethernet
# RGB BNC
# HP-HIL connector for input devices
I need to get a DB9 F-to-F null modem cable, can anyone recommend a
cheap source? Once I have this and can access the firmware console, I
still need ideas for how to install Debian.
