I'm looking for a PCI 802.11g card with a free driver and support for
managed, monitor, and master modes. Free firmware/HAL or support for
hostapd is a plus. Does such a thing even exist? I want to be able to
run an access point from my desktop PC and bridge the wireless network
to my wired connection.
