[ale] SUSE 10.2 firewall

ok, with 10.2 I had Firestarter 1.02 installed and running.
with 10.2 I can't get firestarter to install via rpm or source. the configure 
says my pkg_config is missing a bunch of stuff for libglad and libgnome...

anyway. Does anyone have firestarter working with SUSE 10.2 ?
any other suggestions for a firewall besides the default suse setup?
