[ale] What do I have to install/enable to get X started?

Thanks to all that reponded.  Yes, startx works fine, however I'd like 
for the graphical login come up at boot, like most desktop/laptop 
installs. 

Init 5 started X just fine and setting the defaultinit in /etc/inittab
