[ale] imap folders

Question.....

Using an imap server, is there any client that can create rules (for
moving email into folders) that are saved on the server for the next
client (possibly on another machine) to access.   I know that I can use
procmail on the server or identical rules on each client... just looking
to not have to re-do the filtering multiple times.
