Hi,

I did a

yum install mysql


Then ran

#mysql

and got the following error:


ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through 
socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)

I running Fedora core 5.

Any help would be appreciated.
