Interesting.  I don't have that issue.  Have you tried deleting
~.macromedia to see if it has to do with some old cached files?  The
only reason I suggest that is because I didn't upgrade flash, I actually
re-installed the OS (Dapper -> Edgy) and then installed the flash 9
beta.
