[ale] Strange happenings, can't boot either CentOS or Fedora core 4 from either disk or CD.

Jim,

Most of the time I've had boot CD issues it has been a problem with
the video.  Specifically I've had several flat-screen monitors (LCD)
not work.  I've found if I just put a CRT on it, then I can get things
to work a lot easier.
