ok,
my 5 year-old DELL desktop is starting to lock up... ( I know, there is
a recent thread about this:)
SO, I installed Kubuntu Edgy on my spare server. what I want to do is
copy my /home/user to the new server. I did create a separate /home
partition on the new box, and I have a separate /home on this box. One
thing I noticed is mail isn't the same. On my SUSE box it
is /home/user/Mail
on Kubuntu it is /home/user/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail
any other GOTCHAs I should be looking for?
best way to do this?
I tried to rcp some files and it said permission denied. I did setup
hosts.equiv and .rhosts, but I can't find ssh in the services.
