I'm running a dual boot desktop with XP and Suse 9.3 Here's the line
that makes my C drive belong to me:
/dev/hda1 /C auto
noauto,user 0 0
ls -ld /C
drwxr-xr-x 15 jwl users 8192 2006-05-07 09:30 /C
Hope it works the same way for you.
Jim.
