You can improve gnomes speed with it.

Steve (Nudges Steve, do you have the Enlightened Gnome howto off the
forums?) had Enlightened Gnome running (enlightenment running on top of
gnome).

The UDSF howto works for dapper, just as it does for Breezy/hoary.
