[ale] server virtualization

I've been a long time VMWare fan (still am!), but I only have used 
VMWare to run local development/test systems on my PC.  I have a new 
need to run a completely remote virtual system inside an existing 
system.  The host system is Debian Sarge.  Is there anything in the 
Debain tree that allows for virtualizing one server inside another? 
Specifically I would like to run a RH9 system on the Debian host.
