ALErs -

I see before me in a glowing Firefox frame an ad for a VOIP "handset",
USB phone, that claims to work with lots of OS, "no driver software
required", and wondered whether ALErs are using this or similar gadgets
for Skype calls.

TIA for any background on such HW.

Not that I know anyone to call ...
