[ale] Running X, in an X window?

I know that I have seen it done before, and for whatever reason, I cannot
find the information on Google to tell me what I want to know -- I want to
start a new X.org server, and put it in, say, an 800x600 window running on
my current X session. Why, you may ask? I want to start testing KDE 4 --
so I have a desktop that I am going to use to build/run KDE 4, and I want
to run it in an X window to test it, and have it display on my laptop while
I am using it. So I would be running X already, using KDE 3.5, and then
run a new X window where I would be using KDE 4 and only locally displaying
it.
Does anybody know off-hand how to do that?
Thanks,
Mike
