[ale] SUSE Mplayer update, removes mplayer?

I just did an update to my system, and I DIDNT LOOK CLOSE enough. It 
removed mplayer and the plugin. When I tried to reinstall, it gave me 
an error that it needs libx264.so.46 and it can't be provided. Did a 
google search and found it on packman ( I thought I had packman 
repositories??), downloaded & installed x264... and mplayer still 
complains.
whaatup???
