[ale] grub with Linux and Solaris??

Yeah, it does, but, as I recall, I've not needed to do that unless I'd
done something unsual, like boot SuSE, then chroot to another distro
that was installed on the same box. Typically, any changes made to the
current grub config are picked up without a grub-install.
Just the same, I'm going to give it a shot and see what happens.
