[ale] simple LCDproc problem?

Hello all!
I seem to be having a problem with LCDproc showing
correctly.  I have 2 screens configured by default.  C
and X.  The first time through C shows correctly with
my Hostname.  Then, X shows with CPU Load.  C shows
again after 5 seconds but the first 3/4's of the
hostname are blanked out.  In particular, this is
being used on a Tyan Transport 1u system.  Has anyone
seen this type of behavior before where it seems to
overlap the screens in LCDproc?
