[ale] Sendmail permissions issue

I found out what it was - though I am not sure how it got to be this way.

Somehow the sendmail executable (/usr/sbin/sendmail) lost its original 
permissions.  Its SUPPOSED to have -r-xr-sr-x, however mine had 
-r-xr-xr-x.  I am not sure how it lost the setgid permission.  I have 
not upgraded sendmail since first implementing the script, nor made any 
changes globally to that directory.
