I was on the Mandriva Linux site checking on updates (since
my daughter runs Mandriva on her system at college) and I
bumped into this little item of interest:

The short of it is that HP is partnering with Mandriva (formerly
Mandrake) Linux as a pre installed OS offering. Starting this
year, HP will be shipping commercial systems throughout
South America with a optimized Mandriva Linux
as the system OS!
