[ale] Evolution anomaly -> newsgroup postings disappear, HUH ?

I can't speak for Evo's newsgroup settings, but Mozilla's (?) at one 
time or another had an option to delete read items when shutting down. 
Evolution probably has a similar one.  Look under account settings 
and/or try right-clicking on each subscribed group.
