[ale] OT: XMLHTTP + IE

We saw something very similar to this after a recent patch to IE 6 and 7 
that changed page caching.  All of sudden a Flash app quit refreshing 
itself.  We solved the problem by adding <META HTTP-EQUIV="Pragma" 
CONTENT="no-cache"> to the <HEAD> of the page.  It really looks like IE 
now caches certain parts of a page differently from other parts, with no 
real logic involved.
