[ale] hypermail replacement?

I'm compiling, cleaning up and batch converting several weirdly formatted email digests and archives so I can run them through hypermail:

It seems to do pretty much what I want re: converting an mbox to a set of cross-referenced HTML docs. I wouldn't mind something a little more configurable, though. Anyone have an alternate utility they like?
