[ale] FC5 updates

I got FC5 loaded on my laptop. 

Updates suck.  I finished the standard install at 11am.  It is now
almost 2pm and the system is still applying updates.  I believe it will
be 3pm before it is done.  The download was not bad.  It is the actual
updating that is sucking.  I hear the Ubuntu crowd speaking up now.....
