Not Lugs but clubs. There are several around. Arrl has 54 clubs listed
in GA and 23 in AL.

We have what we call hamfests. These are a combination of new equipment
dealers, used equipment dealers and lots and lots of people selling
their used equiipment.

As far as equipment goes, Ham Radio Outlet, HRO, is on Buford hwy
outside 285 just north of northcrest road. They have all the major
brands in stock. There is also a bulletin board just inside the front
door that has listings for used equipment and meetings and classes.
They also have many good study guides.
