upgrading resulted in feature loss for him, which is why he didn't take 
your advice the first time.  the question, though, is whether, aside 
from feature loss, it also fixed his problem.  Drew?

supposing that upgrading didn't fix the problem (and i'm guessing it 
didn't, or he'd only be asking about the mouse issues), i suspect an 
extension that's either outdated, or just poorly written; many of the 
extensions that i've tried out have caused all sorts of annoying side 
effects, and been promptly uninstalled.  Drew, i'd check to make sure 
that any extensions you've got are compatible with 0.9.1; many of the 
newer ones claim not to be.

as regards both the cut&paste issues, i believe those can be handled in 
  about:config, using http://preferential.mozdev.org/preferences.html as 
a reference.
